Revolutionising Kitchen Design
Day after day, sustainability and innovation are the driving forces behind Valcucine’s work. Technology, product innovation and cutting-edge design are just as crucial as their care for detail, their passion for natural materials and their respect for the environment.
To reduce their impact on the environment and improve the quality of life of its users, Valcucine have been designing and manufacturing products that respect the four fundamental rules of eco-compatibility: dematerialisation, recyclability, durability and reduction of toxic emissions.
This consistent focus has elevated Valcucine to be one of the most respected and sought-after kitchen manufacturers in the world and the first to obtain the ISO 14001 Environmental Certification.
Dematerialisation
Valcucine designs and constructs high-quality furniture that use less materials than traditional furniture and as little energy as possible, all while maintaining its sturdiness and design. This can be seen in Artematica – the aluminium kitchen door frame which uses 65% less raw materials than a standard door.
Recyclability and Reusability
Valcucine kitchens are made with their entire life-cycle in mind. Products are made using recycled and recyclable materials as much as current technology permits, and all components are labelled for easy recognition when discarding. The Invitrum Base Unit System is made with aluminium and glass – making it 100% recyclable.
Reduction of Toxic Emissions
Valcucine carries out random analyses on materials to check for the presence of volatile substances and formaldehyde that are dangerous to our health. Valcucine’s aluminium and glass carcasses and drawer structures reduce formaldehyde emissions to zero, while its water-based wood varnishes drastically reduce the toxic substances produced by synthetic solvents.
Durability & Aesthetic Longevity
Valcucine carry out rigorous quality and resistance tests on every kitchen material. They test for stain, light, impact, scratch, heat and water resistance and only then are the very finest materials selected to make a Valcucine kitchen.
Just as important as quality and durability is a long aesthetic life. With designs that surpass trends and the barriers of time, every Valcucine kitchen is designed to last a lifetime.
