Set on the magnificent Lake Orta, Fantini surrounds itself with what inspires and drives them every day – water. Their newly renovated headquarters, designed by Piero Lissoni and his firm Lissoni Associati, showcase a beautiful synergy between man and nature, where value and respect for the environment is key.
The complex building includes a showroom, offices and meeting rooms as well as production facilities. Featuring large windows with unobstructed views of Lake Orta and San Giulio island, and an inter-building pergola and walkway that’s smothered in greenery, inspiration is never far.
In an effort to share their magnificent setting with the world, Fantini welcomed Casa Fantini Lake Time to the family. The small resort offers a homely escape to the bespoke traveller, featuring few bedrooms and traditional living spaces found in a home. A hotel without the impersonal hotel feel, visitors are welcomed as friends and depart as family.
The familiar feeling and sense of community is continued across their flagship showrooms in Milan, New York and Moscow. Featuring removable product displays, lounge-like sitting areas and large work benches for collaborative sessions, interaction with the products is encouraged.
When it comes to their products, every Fantini piece is design-led, first and foremost. Driven by aesthetics, the team are constantly challenged to overcome engineering difficulties through innovation and produce pieces that stand out from the crowd and emerge with an X-factor. Careful consideration and an immense attention to detail at every phase of design and production result in impeccable quality. Hours of dedicated hand-work and years of craftsmanship comes to the fore once a Fantini product is unpacked, a testament to their focus on quality and not quantity.
Their passion for water has not only culminated in the production of incredibly designed vessels that carry this precious substance, but has also enriched the lives of 25 000 people in Masango, Burundi who now have access to clean water through the construction of 12 collection wells, 27km of aqueducts and 100 water outlets through their 100 Fontane: Fantini for Africa project.
