Exclusive partners embrace manufacturing processes and materials that are environmentally conscious.
With increasing conversations about environmentally sustainability and reduction of an environmental footprint, there is an opportunity to move beyond water saving technology and embrace manufacturing processes and materials that are environmentally conscious.
Italian sanitaryware manufacturer Catalano has transformed engineering and manufacturing processes to create Cataglaze, a unique ceramic glazing agent, that reduces your mark on the environment.
Perfectly smooth and 100 percent bacteria proof, Cataglaze limits the need for chemicals and water required for cleaning. A Cataglazed product will last a lifetime, reducing consumer waste, making it an environmentally conscientious choice.
Catagalze has been applied to Catalano products such as Green and Green Lux basins and the Sfera Rimless Wall Hung Toilet.
While Catalano improves ceramic products, bathroom furniture manufacturer Falper utilises Ceramilux. This engineered composite is created from a blend of materials, making it versatile for baths, basins and integrated benchtops. Ceramilux can be recycled and moulded into various shapes, which means no joins that can yellow and encourages cleanliness. Falper hero bathtub collection such as the Quattro Zero, Scoop and Handmade freestanding bath are all created from Ceramulix.
An evolution in coating for taps and shower heads comes Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD). This process is heat resistant, provides protection and extends durability of the coloured product finishes.
Currently applied to a selection of Fantini tapware such as the Fukasawa collection and selected Rogerseller products, the process reduces harmful hazardous chemicals in the finishing process and therefore reduces environmental impact.
